The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Noida India, has organized a webinar that will be done by Prof. Fausto Pedro García Márquez about “Artificial Intelligence and Energy”.
The webinar will consider the main advances that is being done in the worldwide in artificial intelligence, due that the main countries are working in order to set a correct strategy to fix a definition, structure, standards, etc. in order to guarantee the ethic and rights of the people. It is an important issue in key economy sectors, as the energy. Prof. Garcia will focus the advances in artificial intelligence in Energy, analyzing in detail the main that are being studied, together with the main techniques employed.
Prof. Garcia is member of the AI4People 2020 Committees in Energy. AI4People’s 2020 program aims towards the creation of the first 7 Good AI Global Frameworks, with the concrete objective of considering the impact that the 7 Key Requirements will have within 7 vertical business sectors (Automotive, Banking & Finance, Energy, Healthcare, Insurance, Legal Services Industry, Media & Technology) and, establishing concrete and practical steps that each sector must take to be compliant with respect to the 7 Key Requirements for a Trustworthy AI.

Amity University
Amity University, Noida is a private research university located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in 2005 by an Act of the State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 22 of UGC Act and accredited by the NAAC with grade ‘A+’. The university is a part of Amity education group.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings ranked it and 301-350 in Asia in 2018 and 251-300 in the BRICS & Emerging Economies University Rankings in 2017.
