Fausto Pedro Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez<\/a>, full professor at the Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) University and director of Ingenium Research Group, is one of the new members of the AI4People<\/a> scientific committee. This initiative aims to develop \u00abArtificial Intelligence for People\u00bb and works on the definition of principles, policies and practices that enable the development of ethical and responsible artificial intelligence. This scientific committee will collaborate with MEPs and heads of European corporations to facilitate the regulation of artificial intelligence by the European Commission.<\/p>\n

AI4People<\/a> has defined seven strategic lines to establish its roadmap: mobility, banking and finance, health, legal services, insurance sector, technology and media and energy. Professor Fausto is selected in the last group and he will participate in the working sessions organized for this year. These meetings will begin in early March with a meeting with the president of the European Commission Ursula Von der Leyen.<\/p>\n

Professor Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez accepts the challenge as \u00aba great opportunity to continue learning and sharing the experience in class and my research activity\u00bb.<\/p>\n
